We never sell your data
No brokers, no “partners,” no quiet resale of browsing habits. That is not the business.

Open source. Privacy first.
Fast, lightweight, and quiet. Packed with real privacy controls. We never and will never sell your data to brokers, advertisers, or anyone else.
Features
Not a thin shell with three toggles. Axis ships privacy, performance, and interface tools you can actually use.
Sidebar first chrome, glass surfaces, and a calm layout so the page stays the focus, not the browser.
Set one language for the whole app, or choose a different language per profile.
Blocks fingerprinting, trackers, and ads. On by default.
No usage analytics pipeline. No silent phone home. No attention metrics engine.
Only a few of what Axis ships. A lot more waits in the browser.
Privacy
Axis is built so privacy is the default. Not a marketing line you have to dig for in a 40 page policy.
No brokers, no “partners,” no quiet resale of browsing habits. That is not the business.
We are not building an ad profile on you. Axis does not need your attention metrics to survive.
Privacy protection against fingerprinting, trackers, and ads, plus HTTPS only warnings and JS control. Switches you can use, not slogans.
Open source means you (or anyone) can inspect what ships. Trust through code, not vibes.
Why Axis
Most browsers are engagement machines. Axis is the opposite: open source, sidebar first, and quiet enough to disappear while you work.
Public repo, public issues, auditable binary. Fork it, fix it, or follow along.
Tabs live on the side. The page keeps the width. The chrome stays out of your sightline.
No brokers. No sponsored new tab. No feed instead of a homepage. Privacy is the product.
Get started
Minimal. Customizable. Built for speed.
macOS (Apple Silicon) is ready. Follow releases on GitHub for Windows and Linux.
Axis is unsigned, so macOS may say it is damaged or blocked. That is Gatekeeper, not a bad download. Right click Axis.app → Open, or go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and choose Open Anyway.
